With the Greenworks G-Max 40 volt battery chain saw type G40CS30 you have a very powerful battery chain saw. The big advantage of cordless sawing is of course no extension cords, no noise and no fuel. The latter means no exhaust gases, so also saw environmentally friendly.
The chainsaw can be used with a 2.0Ah, 4.0Ah or 6.0Ah battery.
The Lithium ION batteries ensure a very long cutting time with a high cutting speed.
The saw blade length of the chainsaw is 30 cm. The chain speed is 4.3m per sec.
The link thickness is 5 mm and the chain pitch 3/8 ".
You can make approximately 65 cuts in wood of 10 x 5 cm with a 2.0Ah battery and
You can make about 130 cuts in wood of 10 x 5 cm with a 4.0Ah battery.
The chainsaw is supplied without battery and charger.
All 40 Volt Greenworks machines can be used with a 40 Volt 2.0 Ah battery (item no. G40B2), a 40 Volt 4.0 Ah battery (item no. G40B4) or a 40 Volt 6.0 Ah battery (item no. G40B6).
The Ah (ampere hour) with batteries actually stands for the "tank capacity".
A G40B4 therefore has a double tank capacity compared to a G40B2, so you can work with it twice as long. All 40 Volt batteries can also be used in 25 other Greenworks garden machines such as trimmers, blowers, lawn mowers, chainsaws etc.
The batteries are equipped with 4 LED lights which indicate the amount of energy.
The charging time varies from 60 minutes to 180 minutes. The G-Max 40 volt battery charger (item no. G40C) is universal and can charge both batteries and a quick charger is also available (item no. G40UC4).
This charges the batteries twice as fast as the G40C. The weight of the chainsaw is 2.7 Kg.
