With the Greenworks 40 volt battery blower and piston type GD40BVK4 you have a very powerful battery blower and piston. The blower and piston is supplied with a 40 volt 4.0Ah battery (art. No. G40B4) and charger (art. No. G40C). The DIGIPRO carbon brush free motor provides 30% extra power and 70% less vibration.
The big advantage of cordless leaf blowing and vacuuming is of course no extension cords, no noise and no fuel. The latter means no exhaust gases and therefore also environmentally friendly work.
The blowing speed is variably adjustable.
The maximum blowing speed is 280 km / h.
The blowing speed of a blower is important, but also simple by increasing us as a manufacturer by narrowing the blow tube at the end.
However, the area you blow then becomes smaller and therefore the air volume is also important (indicated in m³ or CFM).
Perhaps the air volume is even more important than the blowing speed.
The larger the air volume, the larger the surface that you can work on at once.
The machine comes with a 40 Volt battery, charger, suction tube, blow tube and a collection bag.
You can switch from blowing to suction without external tools.
The machine is equipped with a mulching function that reduces the vacuumed leaves (10: 1)
This allows you to collect more leaves in the collection bag. A 40 volt 2.0 Ah or 6.0Ah Lithium ION battery available as an accessory provides extra blowing / suction time.
It is absolutely not necessary to always use a blower at full power.
If you set the blower to normal mode (not Turbo mode), the working time with a 4.0Ah battery is approximately 45 minutes (2.0Ah-23min. And 6.0Ah-60min).
At full power, the working time with a 2.0Ah battery is approximately 12 minutes, with a 4.0Ah battery approximately 24 minutes and with a 6.0Ah battery approximately 36 minutes.
The use of the suction and mulching function is at the expense of extra working time.
The charging time of a 2.0 Ah battery is 60 minutes, 4.0 Ah battery 120 minutes and the 6.0Ah battery 180 minutes.
When using the G40UC fast charger, you reduce the charging time by 50%.
The 40 VOLT 2.0Ah, 4.0Ah or 6.0Ah. The blower batteries can also be used in more than 25 other Greenworks 40 VOLT garden machines, such as in a hedge trimmer, lawn mower and chainsaw etc.
