This Greenworks G-Max 40 volt cordless trimmer, edge cutter and brushcutter type GD40BCBK4 is one of the most powerful machines on the market.
The trimmer comes with a battery and charger. The DIGIPRO carbon brush free motor provides 30% extra power and 70% less vibration.
The trimmer is similar to the GD40BCB but comes with a 4.0Ah battery and a 40 volt battery charger.
The difference with the regular trimmer is the much more powerful motor and the robust cutting head where you can choose trimming with wire or trimming with a knife.
The trimmer has a handlebar, so that this machine can be used perfectly in combination with the carrying strap as a brushcutter.
You can make a smooth horizontal movement through the tiller, allowing you to work large areas quickly and efficiently.
With soft handles for greater comfort, the tiller provides greater control and reduces operator fatigue.
The cutting width is 40cm and the trimmer reel has a 2mm double cutting wire. The bump feed system provides easy wire feeding when worn.
The big advantage of a battery brushcutter compared to a petrol brushcutter is the lower weight, no exhaust fumes and much less noise. The included blade is especially suitable for removing thicker weeds.
The 40 VOLT Lithium ION batteries ensure a very long working time.
The trimmer and brushcutter comes with a 4.0 Ah battery and charger.
You can equip the trimmer and brushcutter with a 40 VOLT 2.0Ah, 4.0 Ah or 6.0Ah battery.
The batteries are equipped with 4 LED lights which indicate the amount of energy still present in the battery.
A 4.0Ah battery has a longer working time, which is about double that of a 2.0Ah battery.
A 6.0 Ah battery can be used up to three times longer than a 2.0 Ah battery.
The working time with a 4.0Ah battery is about 40 minutes, with a 2.0Ah battery about 20 minutes and with a 6.0Ah battery about 60 minutes.
The charging time of a 2.0 Ah battery is 60 minutes, 4.0 Ah battery 120 minutes and the 6.0Ah battery 180 minutes.
When using the G40UC fast charger, you reduce the charging time by 50%.
The 40 VOLT 2.0Ah, 4.0Ah or 6.0Ah. batteries from the trimmer and brushcutter can also be used in more than 25 other Greenworks 40 VOLT garden machines such as in a hedge trimmer, leaf blower, lawn mower, chainsaw etc.
