The SPERO SPB1007P Soft Impact diamond drill is the ideal all-around digital pistol-grip diamond drill for electricians, air conditioning technicians, installers, etc., for dry and wet drilling in all materials made of reinforced concrete, sand-lime brick, stone, etc. Diamond drilling in concrete works best with water cooling to cool the segments and remove drilling dust. But what if you can't use water cooling because it would cause water damage? We now have an alternative for dry drilling in reinforced concrete with the powerful 2200-watt SPERO SPB1007P Soft Impact diamond drill, in combination with the
SPERO SOFT impact UNC diamond drill bits with a free-running spiral on the barrel. This soft impact diamond drill features a pistol grip, the best handle for a diamond drill, for a secure grip. It also has two gears: 160 and 1420 rpm, soft start, constant speed, a slip clutch, a PRCD earth leakage circuit breaker in the cord, an LED overload indicator, and a switchable soft impact function that continuously sharpens the diamond segment at 34,080 rpm and gently crushes the material being drilled. Integrated dust extraction allows for dust-free drilling in all hard and soft materials. The SPB1007P is an industrial 2200-watt drill.

The soft hammer function can be activated as needed, allowing the thick-walled diamond drill bit to gently impact the substrate, continuously sharpening the segment and even drilling through steel without water cooling. The machine can also be used with water, which, of course, remains the optimal way to drill through reinforced concrete with diamond drill bits. This machine is ideal for continuous drilling with diamond drill bits from ø6 to ø160 mm in: stone, reinforced concrete, sand-lime brick, tiles, natural stone, asphalt, and other industrial applications where diamond drill bits are used.
The machine is equipped with a slip clutch, Prcd earth leakage circuit breaker, 4 metre cord, water-fed collar connection, dust extraction collar connection and case.

Dry drilling in concrete is only possible with the SPERO Soft Impact UNC diamond drill bits in combination with the soft impact function. Water-cooled drilling with connections other than the UNC thread is always performed without the soft impact function.
When drilling into precast concrete such as hollow-core slabs, wet drilling is preferred. If this isn't possible, the user must frequently sharpen the drill bit in a sharpening stone.
The machine is equipped with a duo drill connection and is suitable for both R 1/2 thin-walled diamond drills and 1-1/4 UNC thick-walled diamond drills.
