40 Volt Battery G40B6

The Greenworks 40 volt 6.0Ah battery type G40B6 is a Lithium Ion battery with a 6.0Ah content.
The Ah of a battery indicates the content of a battery (how long can you use the battery) and does not say anything about the power of a battery. A 6.0Ah battery can therefore be used 3x longer than a 2.0Ah battery. The 6.0Ah battery is of course heavier in weight.

The Greenworks lithium ION batteries have a 3x longer life than NICAD batteries.
The batteries have no memory effect "you can always charge and recharge". The batteries provide constant power and are rechargeable up to 2000x.
The batteries are also equipped with 4 LED lights which indicate the amount of energy still present in the battery. The 40 Volt batteries can be used in all 40 volt Greenworks machines independent of the Ah of the battery.
The charging time of a G40B6 (6.0Ah) battery with a G40C battery charger is 160 minutes.
With the fast charger G40UC4, the charging time is 80 minutes.
