With the Greenworks G-Max 40 volt battery mower type G40LM45K4 you have a very powerful battery mower.
The machine comes with a G-Max 40 volt 4.0 Ah battery (type G40B4) and charger (type G40C).
The big advantage of cordless mowing is of course no extension cords and no fuel.
The latter means no exhaust gases, so also an environmentally friendly mowing.
The 40 VOLT Lithium ION batteries ensure a very long working time.
The lawn mower comes with a 4.0 Ah battery and charger. You can also equip the lawn mower with a 40 VOLT 2.0Ah or 6.0Ah battery.
The batteries are equipped with 4 LED lights which indicate the amount of energy still present in the battery. A 4.0Ah battery has a longer working time, which is about double that of a 2.0Ah battery. A 6.0 Ah battery can be used up to three times longer than a 2.0 Ah battery.
Working time with a 4.0Ah battery is approximately 60 minutes (<600m2), with a 2.0Ah battery approximately 30 minutes (<400m2) and with a 6.0Ah battery approximately 90 minutes (<800m2).
Of course, the working time (and number of square meters) depends, among other things, on the height of the grass, the presence of moss and weeds in the grass and the moisture of the grass.
The charging time of a 2.0 Ah battery is 60 minutes, 4.0 Ah battery 120 minutes and the 6.0Ah battery 180 minutes.
When using the G40UC fast charger, you reduce the charging time by 50%.
The G40LM45K4 mower is a 3 in 1 mower. So you can use the collection bag, drain the grass through the side discharge and leave it, or you can mulch (shrink) the grass and leave it there.
The cutting width of the mower is 45 cm. The machine has a mulching function.
The mulching ensures that the cut grass is recycled / greatly reduced, after which it functions as food for your lawn. This way you no longer have to empty your collection bag.
You can also set the machine to work with side discharge or rear discharge
The machine is adjustable in 7 heights from 19mm to 76mm.
The cutting deck is made of steel. The collection bag can hold a maximum of 50 liters.
The 40 VOLT 2.0Ah, 4.0Ah or 6.0Ah. The mower's batteries can also be used in more than 25 other Greenworks 40 VOLT garden machines, such as in a hedge trimmer, leaf blower and chainsaw etc. This range will be further expanded in the coming years.
