The Greenworks 80 volt cordless trimmer, edge cutter and brushcutter type GD80BCK2 is supplied without battery and charger.
The machine comes with one 80 VOLT 2.0Ah battery and a charger.
The DIGIPRO carbon brush free motor provides 30% extra power and 70% less vibration.
The difference with the regular trimmer is the much more powerful motor and the robust trimming head where you can choose trimming with wire or trimming with a knife.
The handle is also placed differently than with a trimmer, so the machine can really be used as a brushcutter.
The machine is also equipped with a carrying strap.
The cutting width is 38cm and it has a 2mm double cutting wire.
The bump feed system provides easy wire feeding when worn.
The big advantage of a battery brushcutter compared to a petrol brushcutter is the lower weight, no exhaust fumes and much less noise.
The machine is also equipped with a variable speed.
The 80 VOLT Lithium ION batteries ensure a very long working time.
The trimmer comes with a 2.0 Ah battery and charger.
You can equip the trimmer with an 80 VOLT 2.0Ah and 4.0Ah battery.
The batteries are equipped with 3 LED lights which indicate the amount of energy still present in the battery.
A 4.0Ah battery has a longer working time, which is about double that of a 2.0Ah battery.
When using an 80 volt 2.0Ah Lithium ION battery you can trim for about 40 minutes and with a 4.0Ah battery about 80 minutes.
The charging time of a 2.0 Ah battery is 30 minutes and 4.0 Ah battery 60 minutes.
The trimmer's 80 VOLT 2.0Ah and 4.0Ah batteries can also be used in more than 13 other Greenworks 80 VOLT garden machines such as in a hedge trimmer, leaf blower, chainsaw etc.
This range will be further expanded in the coming years.
